Delia Grey Has A Beetle In Her Leg
Short Film in development with Bluebird Productions.
Delia Grey’s father has died. But since their relationship was hardly what you would call functional, it’s entirely of no consequence. She goes about her business as a psychotherapist with an ardent belief in the power of lamination and colour coding to fix the worlds ills. Until that is, she wakes in the night with a beetle living in her leg. Which is ridiculous - certainly not appropriated from a patient of hers and absolutely nothing to do with her latent grief. When Delia prudently advertises for a Vet to remove said beetle, an alcoholic disbarred practitioner arrives on her doorstop. As a Vet he has a duty of care to all animals (and quite possibly a burgeoning fondness for Delia too) but can he safely remove the creature? Or is an emotionally manifest insect in your thigh just something you have to learn to live with?
